Playful Stones River Greenway Anniversary Session | Nashville Engagement Photographer

The first thing that Heather asked me about our session was, "What made you want to do these diversity sessions?" I feel so strongly about the current Black Lives Matter movement, as well as being more inclusive as a whole. I don't feel comfortable participating in marches and rallies, so I was trying to come up with some way that I could personally help support the movement. I want to show that I am welcoming of all couples regardless of background, race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. Telling these stories is important.

Heather and Joe spent the evening wandering around the Murfreesboro Greenway with me and had a blast! Joe is such a giant goofball, there were times I had to stop the session because he had me in stitches. These two have been married for 5 years in September and have 3 beautiful children together, who were cheering along from the sidelines during our session.

Heather and Joe, I'm so grateful to have met you and gotten to know you. Just spending a short evening together, I could tell that your love is strong and steadfast. Thank YOU for helping me showcase diversity. Your story is important.
