There are some couples I get the chance to photograph whose love story is too pure; too perfect. Alyssa & Dallas are exactly that couple.
Dallas met Alyssa when they were both in their late teens. They met as coworkers and developed a deep friendship, until Dallas finally worked up the courage to ask Alyssa on a date to the amusement park for their birthday, where they shared their first kiss.
Like many LGBTQ couples, their love story is not without challenges, but Dallas put it so perfectly, "the road has been bumpy, beautiful, and so memorable... I believe everything has happened for a reason up to this point."
Stories like this make me so proud to be a part of their relationship. I am so honored to be the one to capture Alyssa and Dallas's relationship and family through these photos. You can see the passion and strength in their relationship shine through the session.
These two (and their dogs!) spent the evening with me on the Stones River Greenway in Murfreesboro, laughing, talking, and just plain goofing around. I can't wait to see their relationship continue to grow and blossom! Here's to 4 years together, and forever more!
