Jillian and George met through mutual friends (aka - online) and hit it off immediately. They dated for about 3 years before George finally popped the question. The rest, as they say, is history! When they started planning for their big day, they realized The Barn at Sycamore Farms would be the ideal venue for their rustic-chic wedding. The decor matched their vision perfectly, with sunflowers and burlap. Truly a classic summer Tennessee wedding.
Jillian got ready separate from George with all of her friends, her mom and mother-in-law, and of course her Australian Shepherd Luna. George hung out with the guys in their private suite, playing Foosball and getting into general shenanigans. Once Jillian was dressed and ready, her mom gave Jillian a very special gift - her grandmother's antique handkerchief for her "something blue." There was not a dry eye in the dressing room.
George was waiting patiently on the bridge outside to catch a first glimpse of his bride, and was blown away when he finally turned around. The love and special bond between these two is palpable, given how they couldn't stop giggling, laughing, and smiling during their time alone for portraits.
Jillian and George's families gathered from all over Nashville, and all over the country (George was in the Army) to celebrate with them. Jillian kept her cool the entire time, until she got ready to walk down the aisle and saw George there waiting for her. After a brief ceremony and exchanging vows, their fur-baby Luna helped walked them down the aisle in her own handmade sunflower scarf. With threats of storms all day, the rain held out until the reception, when everyone was too busy dancing the night away to notice!
Jillian and George, congratulations on your marriage! Here's to many more years of love, happiness, and laughter between the two of you.
